Nintendo of Europe has just announced the news that Xenoblade Chronicles will be landing on shelves across Europe from 19 August, a whole two weeks earlier than was thought.

The controversy surrounding the US non-show of the game has been well publicised of course but with this, Pandora’s Tower and The Last Story all apparently heading to Europe but not America (though we’ll believe that when we see it), it seems that now is perhaps the best time ever to be a European Wii owner.

Quite why Nintendo of America wouldn’t want to release three brand new IPs into America is a very different question, what with the Big N reknowned through gamingdom for recycling their classic IPs ad nauseam, we can only suggest that they don’t see the US audience as accepting of the more Japanese-centric releases — so what do you think of that?
