Please Start your engines and put on your swimsuits because we are going to get really wet. I am presenting you to this racing masterpiece and I am hoping you will see the predecessors if this Renegade kid. The Riptide GP is a series of games going back to 2011 when the first game of the series was released. The publishers are on the market for a long time too. They have on their hands a lot of games which are (their motto) made for a PC or consoles but are converted to little tiny apps, that can be played on your phone. And now let’s talk about the game for a little. If you are a bike lover but you want some colors in your game, this is for you. To me, this game is like a perfect combination of motocross and speedboat racing. But let`s see the gameplay.
Riptide GP: Renegade Gameplay and Review
Thematically, the big change with Riptide GP: Renegade is that instead of racing through water racing courses, you’re racing more through more improvised courses. The tracks include city rivers, fountains, amusement parks. And there is why this Riptide game is called RENEGADE. You are no longer racing only on water. You have a bigger choice of racers and maps too. The career mode is rather challenging, without the easing-in that previous Riptide games had. You unlock new vehicles with better stats as you go on, racing through different kinds of events. You can get stuck in a challenging race as progression is rather linear. Finishing any race gets you cash and experience for upgrades, and it’s quite possible to grind for more of both. Each vehicle has a statistical maximum in each of its categories, so at a certain point, you just have to race better. Unlocking and timing the turbo boost at the start of each race can sometimes be the key to victory, that’s how tough these races are.
Overall this is a great racing game with great textures and graphics.
Big variety of tracks and jets.
Simple and addictive gameplay.
Hard and challenging game
Hard game, I might say pretty hard.
I think that I am missing the feel for speed in this game
